Pros
  • Good opportunities to learn in different areas.
  • Work with teams all over the world.
  • First downloaded app.
Cons
  • Lack of transparency, especially related to salaries and employee job level (since your salary depends on it). If you ask anything about it, you can land in disciplinary action.
  • People burning out in all different departments due to lack of organization and headcounts.
  • Mandatory return to office; the plan is to move to 5 days a week.
  • Company moving forward to micromanagement at all levels.
  • No transparency if you want to go outside your own department related to career progression.
  • Low salary compared to competitors.
  • Outdated "homemade" tools, which are a lot less performing than those used in other companies, leading to manual processes.
Advice to Management
  • It would be good to have business and HR decisions made in the EU instead of China.
  • More transparency is needed.
  • More support is needed, even for our team leaders who are under pressure due to high management decisions.
  • Change the performance review system.
  • Try to keep our salaries competitive; the best employees are all leaving to other companies when they can.
  • Remove unnecessary tasks.
