The pay is not competitive. The company lacks a clear direction and only likes to chase "shiny objects". One of the "so-called" engineering leaders, who has created a very toxic culture within his org and keeps telling people "he has been a very senior leader for a long time" – he is not. He only likes to hire from Square and treats them preferentially.
Be true to your mission and values. Don't just pay lip service.
