- 1-hour technical questions with hiring manager: Went well.
- Take-home data science case study: Yet another company with this lazy recruiting practice expecting you to spend crazy hours developing the perfect model.
In my opinion, these home assignments are not the way to go. Split tasks into things you want to evaluate; giving a giant assignment and expecting to evaluate every single competency from it is disrespectful of a candidate's time.
Also, if for some reason you really want to do a home assignment, do the candidate a favor and spend a minimum of one hour giving thorough feedback. All I got was: Nothing. They didn't even bother to send a feedback email, which is super disrespectful.
