The first step was the HR interview. He set up a call, asked a bit about my experience, and gave me a heads-up that it would be an algo interview. Along with that, he gave me a brief idea about the culture.

The second step was a phone screen with a current SDE at Tripadvisor. The process was good. The interviewer was pretty friendly. The questions weren't hard, but it was my first in more than a year. So, I got a bit nervous and was not well prepared. Consequently, I missed some obvious things. But it was good preparation as I am preparing to interview seriously next year.
