Process

I met them at a career fair and was asked to describe a hash map. I was invited to an on-campus interview the next day.

Questions focused on binary search and finding the Lowest Common Ancestor (LCA) in a tree. The interviewer was very helpful with the LCA question.

I received an email with a "homework" assignment about two weeks later. The homework is described on Glassdoor for an intern position, I believe. The main point was to assess how I would handle unexpected user input. It involved sorting, but using a library sort was permitted.

After passing that, I was invited to an on-site interview about a week later.

The interviews took place a month later, at my request. They flew me to Boston and arranged for a nice hotel.

I interviewed with four people. It's my understanding that there were supposed to be five, but the last interviewer was unavailable. The questions were basic. I felt I did well on three of the interviews and adequately on the fourth. Unfortunately, I did not get the job. I am still hoping for some feedback, as they sort of promised it, but I only received a standard rejection.
