Process

On-campus recruiting led to a phone interview, which lasted 30 minutes. I was asked some basic questions:

  • What is Big-O notation?
  • What is the complexity of Quick Sort, and what is its worst-case scenario?
  • What is a hash map and a hash function?
  • What is the difference between an array and a list?

Then, I had to write code on an online whiteboard.

Questions

A coding question about how to find the LCA of two nodes in a binary tree.
