Process

The interview was conducted over the phone. They also sent me a shared whiteboard link over the internet.

There was continuous noise over the phone line, and I was pretty sure it was not my phone that was the problem.

Initially, they asked me whether I had any questions about the company. After that, they went straight to questions about data structures (especially linked lists vs. arrays), running times, etc.

These were pretty straightforward questions, nothing tricky. The interview was not too tough and lasted 45 minutes.

They asked me to write a program to reverse a linked list. That was pretty straightforward, and I also answered questions about its running time.

Next, I was asked to write the same program using recursion. I struggled a little bit and guess I lost it there.

Questions

Write a function to reverse a linked list using recursion.
