The process began with an on-campus interview. The questions were straightforward, covering topics like hash function mechanics, the definition of an abstract class, and a technical problem involving a hash table. An additional requirement was later added to the technical question.
A week later, I received a coding assignment. The task was to write a plagiarism checker, adhering to the provided guidelines.
Several weeks after that, I was invited for an on-site interview. Lunch was provided, followed by two technical interviews and one behavioral interview, each lasting an hour. The technical questions were similar to those found on LeetCode, so brushing up on algorithms is advisable. The behavioral interview felt more like a natural conversation than a traditional Q&A session. I must commend TripAdvisor for their accommodating approach. The only drawback was the extended time between interview stages; my on-campus interview was in late September, and the on-site interview took place in November.
