Data Pipeline Engineer Interview Experience - Düsseldorf, Germany
Process
The first round was a case study. On successful completion, there was a technical discussion on the case study and an interview on the job role. The third round was a behavioral round to check cultural fit for trivago. Finally, the offer was released.
Though I had mentioned my expected gross compensation clearly, the package they offered was way less than I had expected.

- 5.0One of the top companies you can apply to in GermanySoftware Engineer • Current EmployeeAugust 16, 2022Pros: The culture here is very inclusive. I am very quiet and introverted, but I felt no pressure at all. I was easily accepted by the team as myself. The best place to improve your skills I've ever experienced. Trivago retains really good talent. They are all easily approachable and willing to help your growth.Cons: Recently, I had a layoff, and the process wasn't that good, in my opinion. But I believe trivago learned something from this and won't repeat it. So, I still recommend trivago to others.
