Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Russia

Process

A very weird hiring process.

I applied through a recruiter for the position of Senior Software Engineer and received a case study task via email within a week. My solution was accepted, and afterward, I had a Skype technical interview with the Team Lead, which I also passed successfully.

Then, after two weeks, I had a Skype interview with HR, who told me that the next step would be a face-to-face meeting in Dusseldorf. Another two weeks passed, and surprisingly, I received an invitation for another Skype interview with a different Technical Lead. Within three days, I received an email stating that my application was declined.

In summary, if I had known how long and strange the process was, I wouldn't have applied. The second technical interview questions were really weird, and the overall process was very slow.
