I received an email with the interview appointment. It turned out to be a technical interview, although that wasn't mentioned in the email. It was mostly JavaScript questions.

First, I had a Skype interview with HR. Then, I was given some technical tasks to complete. After submitting my solutions, I was invited to visit their office in Dusseldorf for a face-to-face interview with their lead developers.
