Total compensation is top in Taiwan.
Stress, pressure, overtime, political things.
I had five phone interviews. Only one interviewer was located in San Jose; the rest of the four were located in Taiwan, HQ. After all were passed, HR told me that I passed these interviews. The last interview was with the HR Director in San Jose, CA.
First, they said to use Skype for the interview, but then they changed to Microsoft Teams. Two days before my interview, they changed back to Skype. The recruiting team seemed to be unorganized.
Straightforward interview. Mostly interested in your work ethic and ability to learn quickly. Technical questions asked about previous projects and how one approaches new problems. Must express willingness to learn and work hard.
