Pros: Stock units, which Twilio thinks, is the best compensation.
Cons: 1. Twilio, being a global company, the manager and director-level employees they have in engineering/talent acquisition, to the top board members, have no clue of what the job market in India is.
2. They can excel in India if they have very good leadership and less politics.
3. The hike is no more than 4% for the best-performing employee.
4. The work culture is very bad.
5. There is no actual technical work to get hands-on experience.
6. Medical insurance is the worst and doesn’t help employees in their time of need.
7. Payroll is one of the worst I have ever seen, where tax declarations are denied without a proper process.
