I had a first phone interview with a tech manager for Authy (a company bought by Twilio). After that, I had three Skype calls with three different engineers. Two of them asked me to solve a coding test.
Following those calls, I went to their offices in Bogotá to spend an entire working day with two engineers on a small web app.
After two months of not hearing from them, the recruiter contacted me out of the blue to book a final interview with another engineer. He asked me some JavaScript questions.
The day after that final meeting, I received an email stating they had decided to go with someone else.
They were somewhat professional, especially considering the lack of information and the long wait times for responses. The process also took over 3 months, with several time-consuming interviews, which made this a negative and frustrating experience.
