I applied online through Glassdoor and was contacted by the first recruiter. They discussed the interview process and provided company information. After approximately two weeks, another recruiter contacted me to schedule a telephonic interview, which I promptly facilitated by providing available timeslots. I was later informed of the telephonic interview date and promptly confirmed my availability.
A day before the interview, I was informed that the interviewer was unavailable and was asked for alternative timeslots, which I again promptly provided. I then received confirmation of the telephonic interview being rescheduled to a new date based on my suggested timeslots.
On the day of the rescheduled interview, the interviewer did not call at the specified time and was approximately 10 minutes late, as far as I recall. Although the telephonic interview went well and I answered confidently, I was only informed that I had not cleared the round after I inquired about the result.
As the interview had gone well and I was surprised by the outcome, I politely requested additional feedback for my improvement. However, I received no response or acknowledgment from the recruiter regarding my query.
While Twilio's product and tech stack seemed interesting, the overall interview process was a disappointment. This was due to the recruiter's lack of follow-up and response post-interview, the interviewer's initial cancellation of the interview, and their tardiness for the rescheduled phone interview.
