The overall interview experience was very positive.
I applied via Greenhouse, where the role was advertised, and was contacted by the recruiter the same day. We had a follow-up call the same week, followed by a discussion with the manager. Later, this was followed by an interview loop consisting of five individual 45-minute discussions with different company leaders and experts.
The interview process was very well planned. All the interviewers knew exactly the position I was interviewed for, which was a pleasant surprise. This helped me understand the role and the cross-functional (XFN) arena for the future position better.
Every interviewer made sure I had 5-10 minutes for questions in every round, and I could see they were genuinely interested in the conversations we had. There were no indifferent or formal interviewers in the loop, which set the interview up for success.
During the whole process, the recruiter was continuously in contact with me and ensured the process was smooth and without surprises.
Well done, Twilio! Very well-managed interview process.
