The interview process began with an introduction by a recruiter, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and then an interview with a technical staff member. The final stage was intended to be a take-home test, followed by an interview to discuss design decisions.
I was informed that they wished to proceed with a final round interview. I was then given a non-trivial project, which I worked hard on for an entire weekend. After submitting the project, I waited for someone to schedule my final round. Time passed, and I heard nothing.
Eventually, I reached out. The recruiter stated that the team had received the project, found it to be well done, and that she would be reaching out for scheduling soon. Weeks passed, and I still heard nothing.
I do not appreciate having my time wasted like that.
