Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

I applied online and was contacted by technical HR.

This was followed by a technical phone interview with a software engineer.

After that, I was invited to San Francisco for an onsite interview. However, this process was terrible.

The recruiter almost never replied to my emails. They only helped me book my flight the night before I was supposed to travel, after I sent eight emails.

The onsite interview consisted of four rounds with no hard questions.

Following the onsite interview, the recruiter informed me that I would receive feedback within two to three days. In reality, I received the feedback after two weeks and after sending six emails.

She then told me the feedback was positive and invited me to complete a take-home exercise, which took another three weeks.

I just feel this company does not value its employees. Therefore, I declined the final exercise.

I couldn't imagine what life would be like if I worked for them.
