Leadership matters. Really poor leadership will ultimately catch up with an org. The CEO is way over his head. The exec team is really dysfunctional. Wildly embarrassing earnings call, and it kept getting worse after the call. It sounded like the 3 Stooges – an embarrassing time to be at Twilio. The CFO lost huge credibility. Diversity issues are rampant. Prod/engineering is a mess. HR is now a complete joke – it used to be impressive. .org is the only impressive function left.
