Overly cautious with tech means extremely slow progress.

If not working on core components, there's lots of ambiguity, and it feels irrelevant and pointless.

A zero-sum mentality, brought by Colombian upper management, is causing a lot of distress on deadlines.

Downgrading technology due to fear of exploring unknown tech.

Advice to Management

Stop hiring Colombian managers. They draw a philosophy of bossing around and belittling people.

Or teach them to stop being like that.
