If you pick the right team, there are a ton of things that you could learn and work on.

Fast work-pace, less WLB if joined to the team.

If you prefer coasting, you could. Some teams struggle to find things to do.

Cons

You can never trust leadership.

There's no clarity in communications. For example, middle management was unaware of both layoffs. Directions are always changing.
