What a mess. The recruiter was very inexperienced and messed up the whole process.
My first call with the recruiter was not bad, and she mentioned we would proceed to the next steps. However, the recruiter was then completely MIA for over a month.
One day, she finally made a cold call to explain. She gave a lot of excuses, such as she was on holiday, etc.
Then, the call with the hiring manager went well. The hiring manager said the recruiter would be in touch to schedule interviews with the team, but the recruiter never turned up.
Months later, I found out from LinkedIn the recruiter had left her job midway. It appears there was no handover to the hiring teams, and all existing hiring pipelines were dumped under that recruiter.
I received a few offers before an email from Twitch after a long time, but unfortunately, I have no interest in proceeding with a company in such a mess.
