I didn't go through the full process, but I had an initial call with the recruiter and then an interview with the hiring manager.
The initial interview with the recruiter was pretty standard. It offered a very general view of the job, some things that Twitch offers, and what to expect with the interview process.
The second interview was with the hiring manager (the Director to whom you would report). This interview went into detail about what to expect on the job, the tech stack you'd most likely work on, and how the team is structured. He gave me a chance to ask any questions related to the job, and he was nice about answering the deep questions I asked him.
After that, it seemed all was well to move on to the next interview, but it was never scheduled. I asked if I had missed a scheduled interview. I can't tell if I did something wrong or if they decided to move on with other candidates. Something seems really off with the recruitment team, and the hiring manager might not be on the same page.
