There was a phone screening with the recruiter, who was incredibly nice and friendly. He was very easy to connect with, and from that call, I was quickly moved to speaking with the engineering manager.
The engineering manager was not as friendly; he was very rude and didn't seem prepared to give an interview. He didn't seem to have a clear idea of what the project was and appeared to be asking questions on the fly.
