From the ground level, it looks like the CEO isn't really doing much other than streaming (and maybe trying to figure out what Twitch is about).
Lots of layers of middle management for a company that hasn't really changed since 2016. The app is small, with like, 5 things on it, yet, working across org boundaries feels like a geopolitical feat.
Product, Eng, Design, and Research all work in their own silos with no one to provide guidance. Everyone has a say, which means nothing gets done.
Honestly, I can't fix this company. Great compensation though. Work here if you are starting out. Avoid if you are trying to EM or do product.
