Twitch has gone from a great place to work to just okay
The work-life balance is great. The pay is good. The internal culture is very positive. After the layoffs of ~60% of the employees, it has gone from a great place to work to still being okay.
Twitch is very unclear in its direction.
Upper management is poor.
You're able to accomplish much less after Twitch laid off 60% of the workforce.
It's becoming more and more influenced by Amazon every year.
Twitch should be investing much more heavily in internal infrastructure and tooling at Twitch. They're desperate for more resources.
The tech debt in that space is really slowing down progress at Twitch and hurting the culture.
