Quite a nice place to work! People are generally friendly and pretty smart. The tech stack is more modern than I thought it would be, given that the company was founded around the mid-2000s. I particularly approve of the top management, in particular the founders, for giving the company an overall good culture.
Pretty siloed as a software engineer. Not much interaction with other parts of the company outside your immediate team.
No free food, although in NYC this isn't as much of a problem. Also, as an intern I definitely felt like I was given an "intern project" as opposed to being treated as a part of the team, especially when compared to other companies I've worked at.
Overall, a good job. There's a strong emphasis on making sure culture fit is there when hiring, even though the skill bar is already pretty high. If possible, let new hires/interviewees meet their potential managers more before coming aboard, just to make sure people click beforehand.
Applied through the careers website, received an online assessment, and had a first technical interview. I was asked a hard LeetCode question, not sure if it's tagged, and did not make it to the next round.
Quite hard, as expected. The process included: * A 90-minute technical assessment. * A 1-hour technical interview. * An additional 2 hours of technical interviewing. * A final round of 2 hours of behavioral interviews.
I had an OA (2 questions), then a Final Round. The Final Round consisted of three 60-minute technical interviews and three rounds of behavioral interviews, only if you passed the technical round. The technical final involved 2 LeetCode-style question
