I went through a four-step process. The communication was excellent throughout.
I was sent details about what to expect from each interview and received feedback at every step, usually on the same day as my interview.
The first interview was a 30-minute conversation with Margaret, a Tech Recruiter, to go through previous experience, skills, what I'm looking for, and salary expectations.
The second step was a one-hour meeting with two Typeformers to go through a technical approach for a design system. I found this to be a really interesting interview, as it allowed them to see more than just technical skill, but also my ability to communicate and problem-solve. At this stage, I also realised that I would be able to learn a lot at Typeform.
The third was a 90-minute live coding challenge, again with two Typeformers. While I personally don't think live coding is a way for me to truly excel and show my skill level, Pablo and Jess made me feel comfortable and were really helpful.
The final interview was a behavioral one with Jorge, Director of Software Engineering. I can definitely recommend preparing thoroughly for this interview, based on the information you receive beforehand. I thought Jorge was really great at interviewing and playing back anything I said to make sure he understood.
