I applied online through their website, which consists of a longer-than-usual form that needs to be filled out.
I received an automated response immediately. Twenty days later, I was contacted by HR for a 30-minute remote video interview with HR and an engineer. This interview took place another two weeks later, totaling five weeks since my application.
The interview was not for the position I applied for. I had noticed before the interview that they had already removed the Senior Software Engineer position from their website, so I wasn't expecting anything.
The interview time felt short for the number of questions asked. I couldn't provide much detail in my answers as they would interrupt me with the next question if I elaborated. Perhaps it was a lack of interest on their part, or maybe they were testing questions for this new position.
When it was my turn to ask questions, someone entered their room, and they had to end the interview.
The next day, they informed me they would not be proceeding with my application. I also did not wish to continue, as the discussed position did not interest me (it was not what I applied for), and I did not get a positive impression of them during the interview.
