Awful, unprofessional experience.
I was contacted on LinkedIn about a role and, after a bit of back and forth, settled on a time to speak. I cleared my afternoon the following day because I was excited to speak with Uber.
Literally three minutes before we were supposed to speak, the recruiter contacted me, telling me he wanted to reschedule for the next day.
Fine. Stuff happens.
I cleared my calendar for the following afternoon. The time came and... nothing. I waited an hour; nothing. I sent a follow-up email... nothing.
Out of the blue at 10 PM the next day, I received an email from the recruiter. It didn't even address the fact that he had been out of touch or that he missed two appointments already. He asked if I could make time the following day (only a few hours from that point, really) to speak.
So, to recap:
If that's any indication of how they treat you when they're trying to woo you and get you to join them, imagine what it's like once they no longer need to try to impress you!
