An Uber recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. We then had a 30-minute call in the same week to discuss the position. A week later, I had another 30-minute call with a different recruiter to go through the interview process. They emailed me a lot of information to prepare for the interview, which was very helpful. Uber hosts onsite interview events every month on a specific date. I got to pick between the current month or the month after. During the onsite interview (which was a virtual event due to COVID), I had four rounds of interviews, each lasting one hour with one to two interviewers.

• Two sessions were coding interviews.
• One session was system design.
• One session was HR.

All interviewers were very nice and tried to help me solve the problems. I didn't do as well as I'd hoped, but that was on me. A week later, I received a rejection email and a link to book a feedback call. This is the only company I applied to that was willing to provide feedback; all other companies just sent an automated email with no details regarding the decision. The feedback was very helpful and allowed me to realize the areas where I need to work.
