Uber Review
I applied online and it took six weeks until I was selected for the first phone screening. It was a 15-minute phone interview with the recruiter, where we went through my resume and experience. After the phone interview, I was told I needed to complete a coding assessment.
I did not receive any coding assessment after another six weeks. I followed up with the recruiter, and it took another week until they emailed me. They told me I needed to complete a practice test, then wait a couple of days to do the final test. After three to four days, I did not get any link to do the assessment. I emailed the recruiter and was told:
The recruiter did not reply to my follow-up emails after this.
After four weeks, I emailed the recruiter, and nobody knew what happened to the role. Is it available? Does it require testing? What happened to my application? Uber does not have an answer for any of these.
This was a complete waste of my time for about four months. I am not sure if it was me or if this is how Uber treats all candidates.
There was no coding or anything like that.
