Process
I spent a whole day in the office being interviewed 5-6 times by different members of the team.
The first part involved reviewing a take-home project with the whole team. The rest were individual interviews, switching between technical questions and writing pseudocode to solve specific problems.
It was very challenging, but a great experience.
Questions
One of the coding challenges was about finding "islands" in a matrix.
That is, given a matrix of 0s and 1s, an island is defined as a set of cells with 1s that are touching other 1s either horizontally or vertically.
