I interviewed with Cornershop, a startup that was acquired by Uber.
The interview process was very unprofessional. The interviewer did not show up and, without responding to my emails, scheduled a new interview.
After that, I was given a programming project with a 5-day deadline. I finished in 4 days and shared the project with HR and the team. They did not acknowledge any of my questions or my project until 7 days after I had shared it. At that point, they informed me that the invitation to my project had expired.
This was not Uber itself, but I hope this does not happen once Uber is in control.
