A rather short interview with the recruiter about experience and motivation. This was probably mostly a sanity check of the candidate.
A coding task via HackerRank. It was challenging but not impossible to solve, taking about 1-2 hours depending on how fast you find a solution.
Video screen with an engineer from the department (from what I've heard, it can also be with more than one person). After a little chat, it started with a theoretical task on software design. The other task was live coding on a shared Coderpad screen. The problem was not very hard, but it took some thinking, and in the heat of the moment, it is important to stay calm.
On-site interview. I had a challenging but a really great experience there. You get to know some of the team while having lunch. After that, there were some interviews, including coding, general technical questions about software and your experiences with a manager, and an algorithms and data structures interview.
Granted, I have only been at the office for a short time. But all the people there were super nice and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was super positive and exciting.
Also, the whole process was rather quick, and the recruiter always kept me up to date on what was going on in the process.
Tell me about projects you have done.
