The technical interview question was far out of scope for the role I applied for.

The interviewer was difficult to communicate with, as well as a poor interviewer. They led me down one of two solutions. Once I hit a blocker, they suggested I switch to the other solution. Once I hit a blocker on that, they suggested I switch back. By that point, I ran out of time.

This was a poor interview, and a poor job on my part because I didn't arrive at the solution.

I can't repost the exact question, but rest assured it was a difficult DSA problem that made no sense to ask for a Front-End web engineer role.
