Pros: - Cultural values are practical and solution-oriented. - Everyone is encouraged to be aggressive. - It's a hands-off environment where no one tells you what to work on. You tell a story of why your work is impactful, and whoever delivers the most impact rises.

Cons: Need better reward policies to ensure employees are also focused on long-term impact. If you're not mature enough, do not join.

Pros: Good career growth. Compensation is attractive.

Cons: Deadlines can be stressful at times.

Pros: After having worked at several Dutch companies over the past several years and exploring the market by attending professional gatherings and applying for different jobs in the field, I think that Uber is one of the best tech employers in the Netherlands because of the challenges at work, career opportunities, and compensation (salary and benefits). Uber employs smart and knowledgeable engineers who like to share their experience and are always there to help you. Plus points: * Working on top projects at the highest-valued startup in history. * Great colleagues and managers around. * Career opportunities with clear, well-documented expectations. * A ton of internal education programs. * Salary significantly higher than the market average, with yearly bonuses and stock options. Many perks like Uber credit, gym and phone subscriptions, and so on. * Amazing canteen with free breakfasts and lunches.

Cons: - As the company is very big, it's not always easy to produce a lot of visible impact. - Some processes are slow.
