Software Engineer Interview Experience - Russia

Process

Successfully passed all interviews: 2 algorithmic, 1 platform-based, 1 system design, and 1 cultural fit.

The process took half a year of anticipation and excitement. The interviewers were professional and brought some joy to the experience.

It was all ruined two months later after learning they were unable to extend a job offer due to reasons on their side. I was also informed that the situation might change and to look out for new opportunities in the upcoming nine months.

The HR assured me I could ask questions and call anytime, then proceeded to ghost me completely.

Opportunities did come up, but despite active actions to pursue them, I was met with no feedback and no progress.

Only sadness remains.
