I did not like being randomly assigned to a team for an on-site interview, as my preferences were not taken into account. Upon arriving on-site, I did not even know which team I was being interviewed for. It was clear they were looking for a senior engineer.

Pros: Coworkers are great; some very inspiring people walk the halls. There's lots of nice collaboration. Folks really care about the company. I still truly believe in the mission with everything I have.
Cons: In the last 6-9 months, the executive engineering leadership hiring has been really worrying. Lots of bullying and scatterbrained direction.
Reviews are a total black box. Most times, your manager doesn't even know why you got the rating you did.
People are scared like I've never seen before.
