One phone screening
Five rounds of face-to-face interviews at Uber ATG SF office:
The phone round was a typical algorithms question.
Face-to-face:
Round 1: Manager interview Round 2: Coding. The interviewer literally looked up some question bank and gave me an algorithms question. He was least concerned about me doing the question and more about the work he was doing all through the interview. Round 3: The most absurd question I've ever been asked was, "Is Indian Institute of Technology actual IIT?" Guess he never went to one. He kept asking me some stuff related to distributed systems. Round 4: Out-of-team interviewer; nothing technical. Round 5: Algorithms question.
Uber ATG office is great. I really liked the promptness of the recruiter and the whole process. Uber is very generous in terms of accommodation and arrangements.
