Uber is full of benefits, such as a high salary, a great health plan (Careplus), and other perks, like wellbeing reimbursement, credits to use on the apps, a good amount of stock per year, and performance bonuses, among others.
The competency level of the engineers is very high, so a lot is expected from us.
And, lastly, the work we do - implementing new capabilities for the app - has global relevance.
In recent years, governments of various countries have been creating new laws that, in my opinion, could put Uber's business model at risk. The company's shares have not been growing in recent months.
