The company is in a complex market, and tech journalists often don't understand the nuance.
It could be frustrating to read a litany of seemingly negative articles because the journalists don't understand the actual laws or issues. That's probably a downside to every company that's rapidly changing the world.
People who don't work full-time in that specific industry probably don't actually understand the issues in the industry.
