The ML team at Udemy is growing fast.
The teams were not as organized as I was expecting.
I think the system design part of the interview was a bit vague. Questions were asked too ambiguously, and I drifted away from the solution. I did not get any online coding assessment during any of the 5+ interviews, which was a bit weird for my tast
Recruiter call: Basic formality questions on interests, location, etc. Hiring Manager call: Resume overview and past projects discussion. Tech Interview: One LeetCode-style question (medium-hard) (LeetCode + SQL) and 4-5 SQL questions.
First round: LeetCode problem. Second round: Found need to do system design. Third round: Need to talk with manager about your expectations and background check. Work is hybrid; you can also work remote.
