The process involved an email, a phone call, a coding test, and five 1-hour interviews, all conducted online.
This was very confusing and frustrating. It started out well, but I did not get the first job.
The issue was that I was not hired due to a lack of a certain skill, something they knew before I interviewed. So, why did they proceed with the interview?
Then, I was set up for another interview, as they liked me as a candidate. The call went well, but I think we both knew it was not a good fit.
Next, I was supposed to interview again. Although I appreciated them trying to find a place for me, it was frustrating because I didn't receive job descriptions or context, and I really didn't understand what was going on. I withdrew myself before the third interview. I could not manufacture skills, and it all seemed like a waste of time.
Although everyone said they did not need certain skills, that was the reason I was given for not getting the job.
The recruiter was nice, but tough to work with.
I wrote them my concerns and left the process after a month in the system.
