Cons: Frequent Leadership Changes: During my time at Unity, there were multiple shifts in senior leadership, which at times created a lack of clear long-term vision and stability for certain teams. Strategic Uncertainty: Some decisions made at the leadership level felt disconnected from team-level realities, leading to confusion around priorities and team morale. Layoffs and Organizational Restructuring: The layoff cycle I experienced was abrupt and impacted many talented individuals. It also contributed to a sense of uncertainty across departments. Shift Away from Core Values: As the company scaled, there were moments where the culture felt less aligned with Unity’s earlier emphasis on openness and collaboration.

Pros: • Super inclusive • As a visible minority and a woman, I faced no issues because of it. • I had an amazing project for the summer, and my team was great.

Cons: It was a virtual experience, which led to little interaction with other interns.
