Pros
  • Really good starting salary for a starting position.
  • Flexible working schedule with the ability to choose the amount of working hours (20-40 h/week).
  • Positive work atmosphere.
  • Comfy office workplace with good equipment.
  • Not toxic and not corporate environment, i.e., no unreasonable deadlines, no toxic management, and no tracking.
  • Good benefits for students:
    • Longer holidays (24 days vs. 20 national)
    • Essentially unlimited unpaid days off (especially useful for exam sessions)
    • Food, etc.
  • Great response to Covid-19. Every worker was required to work from home before the government mandate. Equipment and funding were given to set up a comfortable work environment at home. As of now, offices started moving to partial opening, but working in an office is voluntary for all employees.
Cons

Somewhat uncertain and long recruitment process.

It took one month between receiving the test task and confirmation of employment, and an additional two weeks to start the first workday.
