Pros
  • High equity compensation and promising future prospects. Business goals and path to profitability make sense. It's just a matter of getting there!

  • Talented co-workers. Everyone here is smart and hardworking.

  • Honest and transparent C-suite. Sometimes that involves hearing things that aren't nice to hear, but that's better than being blindsided.

  • Output-focused culture. Both a pro and a con, depending on who you are.

Cons
  • Compensation, like most startups, is weighted towards equity that cannot be immediately sold and may not ever be sold.

  • Stress can pile up given the urgency of tasks and backlog.

  • Work-life balance (WLB) can be tough for certain teams and functions. This depends on the nature of work as well as personal output.
