Associate QA Engineer Interview Experience - Toronto, Ontario

Process

The first round was an easy and standard behavioral interview. Make sure you can explain why you want to work there and in this role.

After that, there was a one-hour online assessment where you were asked two questions:

  • Write test cases for testing a "date control field."
  • What test values would you use, given specific rules/ranges?

Then, you have a follow-up 30-minute interview going over your solutions in the online assessment and technical questions about testing and QA. Study up on software testing concepts and how to write test cases.

I did not get past that follow-up interview, but you can expect one or two more rounds of interviews if you make it past that stage.
