I had an HR talk and then a meeting with the TL at the office. After that, I received an email with a "Home Task exam." I sent it back after a week but didn’t receive any confirmation from the TL about receiving it, nor did I get any feedback from anyone in the company.
Only after a few days, when I contacted HR, she told me, "He said the solution wasn’t good enough." Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t, but even after HR promised me that she would ask him to at least send some feedback, I got nothing.
HR was nice enough to start offering me other positions in the company, but after this, I told her I’m not interested.
Maybe I’m naive to expect this basic decency from an organization – to at least bother with a short email of feedback after a person invests their own time in a home assignment. But maybe that’s just the way Veeva rolls.
