This company doesn't want to hire people, unless you fit the clearly biased demographic they're looking for.
I applied to two similar positions at Veeva, both in QA. A very common practice, I'm sure anyone would do when job hunting.
However, this company takes it as an insult that a candidate would somehow possibly be interested in more than one role?
The day before my final round interview, I received a malicious email from the hiring manager implying that I was "interested in other opportunities within the company" and therefore she would be canceling my already scheduled final interview that was just 12 hours away.
First of all, if you want candidates to apply to one role only, then make that clear from the start. Or don't bother wasting my time interviewing over the course of 4 weeks just because you didn't check what roles I applied to.
And then you have the audacity to be offended that I applied to another?
Second of all, how is this even a problem? I gave YOU, your company, the chance to assess ME to your benefit.
The QA department seems extremely unprofessional and cliquey, despite being composed of grown women.
I have never felt so offended in my life while interviewing.
Do you want to hire people, or are you just looking for excuses to insult candidates that are willing to work for you?
Disgusting culture, and I would recommend anyone to avoid wasting your time here.
Write some test cases for a basic web application page.
